Communications Consultant, Côte d’Ivoire
Beata is a communications consultant at the SCMS Côte d’Ivoire field office with a background in linguistics and international relations. She provides assistance to the Côte d’Ivoire team to draft key reports, success stories, and publications. Beata also provides training to the local SCMS staff to improve their reporting and communication skills. Before joining SCMS in October 2014, Beata worked for various international foundations, lobbying organizations, and private companies in Poland, Denmark, Lithuania, and Democratic Republic of Congo. She has experience in socioeconomic lobbying and political analysis and is fluent in seven languages.
Deputy Director for Project Planning and Global Partnerships
David is a health sector specialist with a special interest in the HIV/AIDS crisis. Responsible for SCMS project-wide work planning, he ensures that various SCMS services and management units are well integrated to provide an efficient and cost-effective service for clients. In addition, he is responsible for maintaining SCMS’s external relationships with key US and international stakeholders, and leading the Global Collaborations part of SCMS’s work. Before joining SCMS in January 2006, David worked for 20 years with Crown Agents based in the UK, specializing in developing country supply chains. He has worked with all of the major donors, including Global Fund to Fight HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria; the Joint UN Programme on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS); United Kingdom Department for International Development; the United Nations Population Fund; USAID; the World Bank; and the World Health Organization.
Communications Advisor, Zambia
Mali has over nine years of experience in development communications in Zambia and sub-Saharan Africa. She has a particular strength in youth and children’s issues and has worked on a number of projects to elevate their challenges on the development agenda through policy change and advocacy. With Supply Chain Management System (SCMS), she has worked to develop content and produce materials on communications interventions for public health programs and for service providers in the health sector, while publicizing the work the projects do.
